Hi- any advice would be appreciated! I am a soap maker who sells soap under my brand HAUTBath.com-The thing is - I love making soap and feel like that is my expertise - but I also want to sell other products such as bath bombs, candles and even more loungewear!! I want to create more variety in my store but can’t make everything myself!
I’m also not interested in private labeling as I feel it is too time consuming to come up with the perfect product, then there is contracts etc… I rather leave it up to the experts in their own field - for example buy wholesale candles from a small business owner who make candles -
And also list in the description that they are made by that brand . I also don’t want to design my own loungewear - just rather buy it from someone who already does it and sell their brand in my store - does this make sense to grow my own store and brand ? Faire.com allows me to buy wholesale in small quantities from other artisans under their brand name - I thought this might be a good idea for candles , bath bombs etc…
But I notice every soap maker I see online ALSO makes their own bath bombs , candles and so on under their own name- I really just want to stick to what I’m good at you know ? And I doing myself a disservice by going this route ??
