A user is trying to add social media icons to Shopify email template footers. Despite syncing links through the email app’s “brand” option, the icons disappear once emails are sent.

I´d like to know if any of you know how to add the social media icons to the footer of our email templates? Are there any alternative tools that can allow us to add these icons?
Shopify´s email seem to have an issue, despite us adding our links to the “brand” option and these being synced with the email app and appearing on the email templates, once we send out the emails they´re gone.

You can add a social media icon on the email footer from Settings->Notifications->[Select Shopify email] from orders. Then click on edit code here you can add your code in HTML.
oh sorry for that issue can you please send your email template code so i will check update

This is what I was looking for. Would it be possibel also to have that code? I would also wich to add that in my emails templates
