We’re hoping to have a way so that we can tag a product in a given collection with sold-out and when that tag is present, a banner appears over the top or corner of the image indicating “SOLD” or “SOLD OUT”.

We are using reformation 1.4.0
This was resolved by unchecking “Continue to sell when out of stock” and modifying the “out of stock” text in the theme to “SOLD”.
