Hello everybody, I have a basic problem: all my products have same set-up (markets active, in stock, price and weight defined, shipping rules set-upetc…), but some of them appear to be in STOCK OUT while others not. Really I checked all set-up and they are all the same. I am going mad, I am sure it is a basic set-up somewhere but I cannot find the solution. Where can be the problem? Thanks
Topic summary
A user is experiencing an issue where some products incorrectly display as “SOLD OUT” despite having identical configurations to in-stock products. All affected items have the same setup: active markets, inventory in stock, defined pricing/weight, and shipping rules configured.
Troubleshooting Progress:
- Screenshots were shared showing the backend configuration of a specific product (“Duck tape heavy duty”)
- The images reveal product settings including inventory tracking and availability settings
Proposed Solution:
A community member suggested unchecking the “track quantity” option and then re-enabling it as a potential fix. This appears to be a common workaround for inventory tracking glitches in Shopify.
The issue remains unresolved pending the user’s attempt of the suggested solution.
