So our client owns 4 store locations, each with its own brand, and he’s currently selling all their products on a single Shopify website. The objective is to create an e-commerce website for each location and showcase its products.
The problem is our client uses the Vend POS, so we can only connect to 1 Shopify store. And this is not something they are going to change.
The solution was to build out the websites with Wordpress & sync the Shopify products to the front end using ShopWP. We went with this solution due to our familiarity with WordPress & it is cost-effective. While the plugin is not without issues, our biggest hurdle is that due to the number of products (800+), it’s causing a huge strain on our resources. We don’t think this approach is working anymore.
Basically, we’re looking for an alternative solution. Since our client is committed to using Vend, what other Headless Shopify solutions are out there that you like (ie Nextjs)? Is it possible to create additional Shopify stores that syncs products from a parent Shopify store?
