SOS! I need to add a 'note' text box on my checkout page

I’m trying desperately to add a simple Text box to my check out page, so guests may drop me a note - or a note to put in their shipment if it’s a gift.

I know someone can help me.

I really don’t want to throw my MacBook out into the ocean, but I’m pulling my hair out here in Destin, FL. Plus it’s in rainy and in the the 30s, so I’m trying hard not to be grumpy.
