Splitting and hiding Collection Description

In Dawn I’m trying to split the description and for the last split hide it in a Read More section at the bottom of the page.

I can split it through Custom liquid on the collection level but I’m trying to do this for all collections in my store and to hide the last split.

Any help is appreciated.
