How to make the first image on the product details page default to the main image instead of the variant image ? ( for spotlight theme )

When the Shopify Product Details page opens, the image is displayed not from the main image, but from the first sku image. How can I change the first image to the default main image instead of the SKU image? (for spotlight theme )

If you want to change this, you need to have JavaScript knowledge to modify the theme’s code structure.

I suggest hiring a developer for this task. Alternatively, you can use third-party apps like GemPages, PageFly, or Shogun to build Product Page templates without depending on the theme.
