I have built a new store in Shopify to replace a current squarespace site. When building the site I was careful to utilize the same urls. For example, a current url is https://www.specifiedsolutionsinc.com/usv-wallcoverings and my new url will be https://www.specifiedsolutionsinc.com/collections/usv-wallcoverings.
I am assuming I still need to go into Shopify and create redirects because of of /collections. Could someone confirm for me?
And if so, do I put the entire url in both the “Redirect From” and the “Redirect to”

Yes, You still need to add url redirect in shopify
you have to add redirects like this
Redirect from: /usv-wallcoverings
Redirect to: /collections/usv-wallcoverings

Is the reason I do not need this because I am redirecting the same url?
