I found out that someone I did not authorize had access to my online store and sales data. She logged into my store awhile back and I’m wanting to find out what she looked at while she was logged in. The company that helped us launch our website through Shopify gave permission to her and I’m not happy. This person apparently logged in, but I don’t know what she saw. Is there a way to find out? I’d appreciate any help in this regard and I thank you for your time!
I am sorry to hear that you had someone access your store that wasn’t supposed to be able to, or you didn’t provide permission to them. Do you know what permissions the account they used had turned on?
Depending on when the access was our support team may be able to escalate this request to see if we can find any actions taken by this staff account. I don’t have direct access to merchant accounts, but our authenticated support can review for any setting changes made to the store during that time frame. Have you been able to secure your account since this person had access? I do recommend updating all your account passwords and reviewing staff permissions for the store.
