Anyone know how I can start a shopify Regional Group / Community?
Right now there are only a few: NYC, LA, UK & New Zealand

Ah okay, I see those up there! I’ll go track down some information on that topic for you and I’ll reply to this thread once I have more info. Those communities look like they may have been created by Shopify, so I’ll follow up with our team and see what sort of information I can provide you about starting one yourself.

I appreciate your patience while I collected some additional information for you!
I spoke with my team and I was able to confirm that those groups were indeed made by Shopify, and are moderated as such. As a result, creating a new group is not possible at this time.
Where abouts are you from? Although there may not be a group in that section dedicated to your region within our Forums, there may be other local communities that we can point you towards so you can get connected with others in your area.
Further, we have some events that we’re going to be posting about very soon, so perhaps one of these events will be somewhere close to you that you can take advantage of?
I’ll keep my eyes peeled for a reply from you about your location, and we’ll see what we can do from there!
