Most small stores lose hours every week answering the same three questions. Where is my order. Do you ship to my country. What is your return policy. Support tools that handle this properly are usually priced for teams, not for one person running a store alone.
I built Statiq Support Agent to close that gap, and it is now live on the Shopify App Store.
What it does:
It installs as a chat widget on your storefront and answers customer questions using your own store data, including products, policies, and order status. It responds instantly, around the clock, in the customer’s language. When a question falls outside what it can answer confidently, it hands the conversation over to you instead of guessing.
Setup takes a few minutes. There is no code to write and no theme editing required. It installs as a theme app extension, so it does not touch your theme files and removes cleanly if you uninstall it.
It is built for stores that are getting real support volume but are not big enough to justify a full helpdesk subscription or a support hire.
Pricing and full details are on the listing: Statiq Support Agent - AI chat that answers order status questions instantly, 24/7 | Shopify App Store
Happy to answer questions about how it handles order lookups or policy accuracy if anyone wants specifics.
Hey @Statiq_Labs ,
Congratulations on the launch!
I like that you’ve focused on a very specific problem that many smaller merchants face and it’s reassuring to see that the assistant hands conversations back to the merchant when it isn’t confident rather than trying to guess an answer.
One suggestion that could help merchants evaluate the app more quickly would be to include a few real world conversation examples on the App Store listing or your website. For example:
An order status lookup.
A shipping policy question.
A returns question.
An example where the assistant deliberately hands the conversation over because it doesn’t have enough confidence to answer.
Seeing those scenarios would make it much easier for merchants to understand how the assistant behaves in practice and what they can realistically expect from it.

Thank You !
Hi Steve,
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback. The handoff behaviour was the part I spent the most time on, since a confident wrong answer costs a merchant more than an honest escalation, so it is good to hear that came across.
I will act on your suggestion. I am putting together a short set of real conversation transcripts covering an order status lookup, a shipping policy question, a returns question, and one where the assistant declines to answer and hands over to the merchant. The last one is probably the most useful of the four, because it shows the limits rather than the best case. These will go on the website first, then into the App Store listing on the next update.
If you are open to it, I would also value your view as a merchant on where the assistant should draw the confidence line. That threshold is the hardest thing to tune without real store data behind it.
