Stay on product page after using a custom Add to Cart button with hyperlink

Hi,

I have created an upsell button using a hyperlink to add products to the cart inside another products page.

The issue however is that when using this method it navigates to the cart page and I would like to stay on the product page similar to how the inbuilt “add to cart” button functions.

This is the only way I know of without investing in an upsell app does anyone have any tips or advice on how we can improve this.

Notice on amazon you still have added to cart that’s because it’s better UX.. the way your writing it the UX is clunky and not recommended. the best way to do this actually adds those buttons as a variant and then style the variant buttons.. you can even do that per collection if you want
