Just adding to the chorus to say I am devastated to hear the news Shopify is sunsetting Stocky. The “Purchase Order” function on Shopify does not create predictive orders based on sales, which is such an important feature. I hope the team rethinks this decision.

I was talking with another individual about Comics and the needs you guys have. Unfortunately with Stocky going away and Shopify’s roadmap for supporting features it just seems like there are going to be a lot of people left hanging.

I get the concern, Stocky enabled a real missing link in forecasting. A good workaround is to combine your Shopify analytics exports with an inventory planning app such as Inventory Planner or with a scheduled export into Google Sheets with a few simple demand formulas. This brings back predictive ordering while maintaining the purchase order workflows within Shopify. Many merchants also combine this with reorder point rules to stay ahead consistently.
