Someone has created an Shopify Balance Account with my email and started purchasing items with my info. I can’t get in touch with anybody about shutting it down and the support chat doesn’t work unless you can login to the affected account, which I can’t. This is utter crap! What system doesn’t allow you to speak to someone? I had to create a new account to even be able to post here. Someone from Shopify please help me!
The phone number and email are no longer active. They both replied with using the support chat or search which neither have helped. How do I talk to an actual person to resolve this?
My exact problem! Shopify support is an absolute joke and they are okay with spam and fraud on their website.
