Can someone look at my store struggling with sales and want to see if there there’s anything to be improved www.retrodedesire.net

Hi @retrodesire

His robots is fine, do not scare him without any reason.

It is a nice site, a bit basic, but it is clean. Images OK, btu for product images, I would like to see more with models.

On homepage, your header is too big. You have 2 rows, anounsment bar, and that marquee text that say same thing. There is a better way to show important notifications. If you have time, check our app Atomato :tomato: Atomato AI Notification Alerts - Onsite alerts through a notification feed, not popups | Shopify App Store
For me logo and menu are way down, plus hard to see white text over the banner with white t-shirts. And if you go to the product page menu disappears as the text is black on a black background.

The product page is a bit simple; you can do a lot more there, some icons for reassurance, some accordions for shipping and other info, a review app, FAQ. Also notice that input elements do not have a border. I mean it is ok if you want that, but for example Contact page looks very strange.

Good luck with sales but you do have more work to do. Do check the forum here for topics like “no sales” and “store feedback” a lot of good advice that you can use.

Hi @retrodesire

Your t-shirt designs are unique, I like them

Here’s what you can fix:

Home Page

Your navigation is difficult to see because of the carousel, use a static image that goes well with white

Collection Pages

Your collection titles need a better name, “men’s shirts” is not going to get you any traffic from a search engine. Try something like, “men’s psychedelic shirts“

Add a little description about each product on the collection page.

Make the prices an H3 or H4 title.

Product Pages
Your product need better names too.

Your product descriptions are generic and written by the manufacturer. Make them unique and make them stand out. Get people excited to buy your product.

Another thing you can do is add a free shipping progress bar that displays when they add the shirt to their cart. Install an app like, X Away from Free Shipping, to encourage visitors to spend more. It will show your customers how much more money they need to spend to “earn” free shipping.

Looks like a standard p.o.d. dropshipping site. There’s really nothing you can do about the price? You want customers to pay you $42 plus $5 shipping for a t-shirt that has a smile face on it, to you who didn’t do anything?? That has to be the worst offer I have ever heard in my life.

Have you bothered to go through the checkout process yourself? You should try it. You may find something that needs to have color..

You have 2 different emails, one is gmail the other seems to be your version of domain email except it’s .org….

Overall I’d give this a 2/10. The choice to do p.o.d. instead of actual work is a major negative. The prices are ridiculous, especially when people find out you didn’t actually do anything.

I designed them all myself

Hello @retrodesire If I were in your shoes, here are a couple of things I would change/work on

  • I would redesign the header- font, size and color wise then I would also make it a sticky header so it can easily be accessed while customers scroll through.

  • It’s good you have an About Us section but it’s just a background and introduction so you should add an FAQs section too to pass across more information to potential customers

  • Customer reviews are the easiest and quickest way to single to people that your store is credible and trustworthy. You should have some on the homepage.

hey @retrodesire you did a great job but you can do make more attractive store
i think it is your first time to design or develop a store so feel free if you have any question about it
