Hi @ZelinaSE

This is Ellie from BOGOS (formally Free Gifts by Secomapp), # 1 Promotion App on Shopify featuring Free Gifts, Discounts & Bundles.

When I first visited your store, I was impressed by how well everything is organized, making it easy for customers to find what they’re looking for. The store design, from the color scheme to the layout, is not only elegant but also perfectly aligned with your brand identity. :heart_suit:

However, if you haven’t made any sales, there may be underlying factors that are preventing customers from completing their purchases.

I. Store Layout: I just want to recommend a few small adjustments to create an even better shopping experience for your customers.

  1. Header: The header is a bit too large in height, and it doesn’t hide when I scroll down, which ends up taking up about a quarter of the screen.
  2. Categories: I love how detailed the categories are, but it seems like you have more than that. However, when I scroll down, the list remains static, and I can’t view the additional categories.

II. Promotions

Furniture is a particular product which customers often compare stores before making a purchase. To stand out, focus on product quality and create enticing promotions.

Consider offers like “Buy X, Get Y at a Discount” for upsells or classic bundles for complementary items like table accessories. You could also offer deals like “Buy a Sofa, Get a X 10% off” to add value.

Tip 1: Ensure the gifts or discounted products complement the main item and are reasonably priced. Offering two expensive products might not have the desired impact.

Tip 2: Use the BOGOS app to easily set up all the most popular promotions - all in one installation.

Grab 7-day free trial of BOGOS (4.9 overall rating, 2,005+ reviews) to give it a try!

III. Build trust

Customers always consider another important thing: how other buyers think about this product. Therefore, leaving no reviews on your product page isn’t a good choice.

Proactively collect reviews from your previous customers or create them yourself. Don’t forget to upload images of people using your products to showcase how the furniture looks in real life.

If my answer is helpful, I would appreciate it if you could give me a Like or accept it as a Solution!

Wish you all the best with the business,

Ellie

Hi @ZelinaSE

First, I must say your store is looking great and you did a lot of things right. It good theme, and great images, full contact details, Klarna as a payment option. I checked your domain age and, if it is correct, it is just a week old. So my first advice is: be patient. Even if you did everything by the book it still needs some time to go through all search crawlers and get indexed and spread on the internet. Ads are probably necessary but you should think of other ways to spread the word online. Social networks are the best way, plus maybe later you could even try to sponsor some YouTube channels from your industry.

But here are some things that you could improve. Like @Ellie-BOGOS said your header is huge, and you could try to fix it by changing the logo to a rectangular shape and small height. Next is the main menu, think some kind of mega-menu would suit our store more. Maybe add another menu item " By room", similar to what you did on the “About us” page. And that page is a bit misleading, not much about you actually but more of a display of collections. Your homepage could be improved, that big banner is great but not useful that much. You could add a button to lead to “About us” to show collections. See how strange that sounds :slightly_smiling_face: Then you have Featured products but the first 6 products are Sold out? What is the point of putting them on the homepage then? Customers would be annoyed and leave. Better to have a grid of collections beside that section. Also, check your products, I found several in Table collection that have price 0 so I could order and get one for free and then sue you if you do not deliver :slightly_smiling_face: And because you are new and have no real reviews yet, you should, like Ellie said build trust in some other way. Do you have a real, physical, brick-and-mortar store? Some images/videos of the store or products would be great. The last thing I would mention is a lack of discounts. customers do expect some. Furniture is not cheap so some regular promotions are a good tactic. Check the Klaviyo module, for an example. Maybe it sounds strange but I missed a modal/popup with a 10% discount for new members.

Good luck with the sales and have patience.

I am using Instagram for official social media, tiktok for meme type of content related to the product topic, targeting same audience

Yes,

well tho i have some outlines who is the target audience, their characteristics, where they live and what are their values, there is a identity of my brand as well, and other things planned like customer loyalty - discount, collecting their emails and offering some new items. Where we can discuss ?

Hi @ZelinaSE ,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance. Here are my recommendations to improve your conversion rate:

Your website isn’t effectively converting visitors into buyers despite your advertising efforts. Without seeing your ads, I can’t offer detailed recommendations on your landing page. However, here are some suggestions from Databox that you might find useful. You can read more in their article.

“When the click-through rate (CTR) is high but the conversion rate is low, it usually indicates an issue with the landing page. This is often due to a lack of effective calls-to-action (CTAs). To address this, create a clear CTA, such as a “Buy Now” or “Read More” button. This CTA can be a clickable image with a small amount of text or a simple button.”

1. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate

Additionally, a high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.

To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:

  • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
  • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to motivate them to finalize their purchases.
  • For more detailed guidance, refer to an article from the Shopify Help Center

Besides here are some suggestions regarding the UX/UI of your website

2. Banner

You should add a high-quality, eye-catching hero banner with a clear value proposition and a strong call-to-action (CTA). Highlight any ongoing sales, new arrivals, or bestsellers to catch customers’ attention. Below is a reference:

3. Featured product

You should remove out of stock products, add promotional sections such as Best seller, New arrivals to catch customer attention.

4. Adding a FAQ page/help center/ chat box

A FAQ page/ help center/ chat box that includes general information will address customers’ concerns more quickly, encouraging them to buy your products. See a reference below:

5. Improve category page

You should add more filter options like color, material, on sale, new arrivals, etc., to enhance customer experience, save time customer searching for products and therefore improve conversion rates. Here is a reference:

I hope some of my suggestions are helpful, feel free to give me any feedback.

Good luck!

Hi @ZelinaSE ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Free Landing Page Builder.

I have just had a look at your store. Your store is so pretty but I would love to provide my recommendations for your store so that it may gain more sales. May it help!

1. Adjust your store’s favicon: Having a favicon for your store will make it unique and help customers easily recognize it. You have already set it up but the loge/ text is so small. When my browser is in dark mode, I can’t see it. Please consider using another image/ icon for it.

2. Improve your Product variant features

From all Home page, Collection page, especially your Product page, you should use Color swatches or Variant image to show the customer the diversity of your product. It looks like a mistake here on your desktop and mobile:

In mobile, when I click to choose the dropdown variant, it’s hard to see the change in the Product images above and make a buying decision. Please take a look at this screenshot to understand:

Besides, the product description can be compacted or shortened so that customers focus more on the Add to cart/Buy now button.

3. Have an announcement bar: The announcement bar will announce information about shipping and discounts or any promotion campaign of a store. You can consider adding a countdown timer to create FOMO feeling.

3. Add more content on your homepage

3.1. Add a section about your brand story

A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more professional.

3.2. Build your reliability through testimonials - customer reviews

  • Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers’ trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of each service and focus on how your service solves a problem or improves a situation.
  • Incorporate images, videos, or infographics to illustrate the service and its outcomes.

Moreover, users’ perceptions of the site or brand can be positively influenced by the returns policy, and any warranty or guarantee information, which can reassure them that the site is trustworthy. Your information is quite hard to see now, make it clearer.

Besides building attractive and powerful pages, you should spend more time focusing on marketing strategies. Let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck and have a nice day! Cheers!
