I had a frustrating experience. Just a month passed since I launched my store and now it has been flagged.
The reason given by the Shopify Partner is this:
Missing security header and robot txt, file missing which as affect your store current visibility on all search engines kindly check for yourself

the only resolution is for me to upgrade (purchase) a premium theme.
If Shopify doesn’t support its free theme, then why do you have this option. It’s unfair towards anyone. Anyways, though the theme is free. The service from your company is not free. There’s a base monthly charge + 5% cut on every sale. It really hurts a small startup to have such a set-back.
I have not violated any terms. The only mistake I made was choosing Shopify as my website builder.
Why give a fake gimmick that an online store can be opened for a monthly fee? When afterwards your company reduces its visibility, so that customer, will be forced to pay more. It’s completely unethical.
update: IT WAS A PHISHINH EMAIL AND A SCAM!!! I got in touch with Shopify they were very helpful! Be warned and be careful!
