I am running a clothing brand and I’m new. My store was shut down before I even started on April 30th. I receive an email on May 1st asking for proof of address, proof of business association, proof of inventory, and social media links in which I provide ALL of the documents they requested. 3 weeks go by, no response so I spoke to an advisor who said my documents were verified and I should expect a response soon. A day later they finally respond to me saying my business presents a “level of risk” and I receive a separate email asking for the SAME documents they previously requested. This makes no sense as the advisor checked and saw that it was verified. As of writing this I already resubmitted the documents to the second email asking for the same documents and it’s been a week and no response. What should I do? Are the documents good? I do not want to wait another 3 weeks just for them to say I’m a “risk”.
For context, I am a new clothing brand with barely any social proof because I am new (600 followers on Instagram). I have my samples in hand and showed manufacturer invoices. I showed a gas bill with my address on it and I provided my EIN. I am a sole proprietor as I am NEW but plan on converting to an LLC after doing a couple thousand in sales.
