Is there anyone else here whose store has been terminated and who isn’t receiving any updates from Shopify regarding what will happen to it?
Hey @TrendyCart
Shopify’s Trust team works on their own internal schedule and standard support generally can’t speed it up or give visibility into where your case sits.
Quick heads up though, this is a public community forum, mostly merchants and partners. Shopify Trust doesn’t actively monitor or action requests from here, so posting alone won’t move it.
What’s actually worked for some merchants in this situation: reply directly inside your existing termination/appeal ticket (don’t open new ones, that resets the queue), email merchanttrust@shopify.com with your store URL and case reference, or DM someone on the Shopify Trust team via LinkedIn with a short factual summary. While you wait, export your store data (products, customers, orders, content) immediately if you haven’t already, you usually have a limited window before access is revoked completely. Hope you get clarity soon.
Best,
Moeed
Hello @TrendyCart
Yes, there are community merchants that have had extended review after a store suspension or limitation. In the meantime, the best you can do is ensure you have your domain, product data, customer exports, and billing records backed up and documented. If payouts are required, have records of tracking numbers, proof of fulfillment and any customer communications at the ready. Several sellers also create a backup store front on a different platform as a temporary measure so their business isn’t completely on hold while they await a final ruling.
