I am using the checkoutCreate mutation, everything is working flawlessly, but I need to complete the checkout without an E-mail address. Is it possible to replace the email attribute of the mutation with phone or email_or_phone like the checkout supports.

At this time, this isn’t possible when creating a checkout with the Storefront API. With that being said though, I’ll file a request to have this added as it makes sense to mirror the behaviour of the online checkout. Thanks for bringing this up!

Is there an update on creating a checkout with storefront API using phone number? This is important for markets with customer storefronts where customers frequently prefer giving their phone number over email.
