Structured data could not parsing error in Search console

Hi

I hope your guys can help with.

In Google search console i have an error, that says the structured data has a syntax error with a wrong value type.
Invalid items are not eligible to appear as expanded results in Google Search.

But i cant se it can U?

Hey @Henrik3

If you scroll up just a bit on the right, you’ll see the beginning of the tag for the structured data. The type “CollectionPage” isn’t eligible for Rich Results which is why you’re seeing the error.

There isn’t a Rich Result for Google for the collection page.

Okay. What should it say instead of “@type”: “CollectionPage” in the script, or is the entire script wrong?

Hey @Henrik3 sorry for not being more clear. Since there isn’t any Rich Result you can win on the collection page, there is no value in this code. You can either delete the script altogether or ignore the errors. Either way, Google isn’t going to use the information so it doesn’t harm you one way or the other.

Thanks for your help. I think, that i will delete the script, as it doesnt bring any value to the page.
