Struggling to update my store on Pursuit theme

Hi,

I run my store on "pursuit’ theme and struggling to update it. The notes say “An updated copy of your theme will be added to your theme library so you can review before publishing. The copy will include your content, sections, and templates.” But I am unable to update with content, sections, and templates. Is there a way i can avoid redoing the whole store? TBH, I didn’t think a custom theme could be such a pain else I wouldnt have bought it in the first place.

If you didn’t add some custom code, meaning not a default code from “pursuit” theme, you should be able to update with no problem. But if the note keep saying the said error, I would contact the Pursuit theme developer here. They do have a website.
