Struggling with product imports and upsells – looking for the best solution

Hi everyone,

I’ve been running my Shopify store for a while now, and the two main issues I keep running into are:

  1. Product importing & order syncing – Doing this manually takes hours, especially when trying to test new products quickly. It slows me down and makes scaling harder.

  2. Upselling & bundling – I want to increase my average order value with bundles, cart add-ons, or BOGO offers, but managing it with multiple apps gets messy (and expensive).

I know there are tools out there that claim to solve these problems, but I’m looking for something that’s actually beginner-friendly and doesn’t require coding. Ideally, it would let me:

  • Import products with one click

  • Automatically sync orders and fulfillment

  • Offer upsells, bundles, and custom product options

  • Track performance in real time

Has anyone found a reliable way to manage all of this in one place? I’ve started exploring solutions that combine product importing with upsell tools, and it already feels a lot less stressful than juggling 4–5 separate apps. Would love to hear what’s working for others.

Thanks in advance!

Hey @Rafiqul77

What worked for me was focusing on the foundation instead of just ads. A reviews app (Judge.me) built trust fast, Klaviyo helped me set up simple email flows for cart recovery and welcome offers, and an affiliate/referral tool like UpPromote gave me another traffic channel without extra ad spend. I also added a lightweight bundle/upsell app to raise AOV. Once those were in place, conversions started coming in consistently. Might be worth testing a similar setup so you’re not relying on ads alone.

Warmly,
Moeed

Hi,

I totally get the pain — managing imports, orders, and upsells separately can get messy and slow you down. A few beginner-friendly solutions that can help streamline everything:

  1. **Product Importing & Order Syncing:
    **

    • DSers or Shopify’s native CSV import + Oberlo/Spocket (for dropshipping) allow one-click imports and automatic order syncing.
  2. **Upselling & Bundling:
    **

    • Apps like HoneyApps, Bundle Products by Thimatic, or Zipify OCU let you create bundles, BOGO, and cart add-ons without coding.
  3. **All-in-One Options:
    **

    • Veeqo or Shopify Plus features (if your volume grows) combine product import, order syncing, inventory, and some upsell options.

:white_check_mark: Tip: If possible, pick an all-in-one tool for product import + upsell to reduce app conflicts and subscription costs.

Most importantly, test the workflow on a few products first to make sure it really saves time before scaling.

I’ve been in the same spot. Manual importing and syncing eats up hours, :face_with_bags_under_eyes: and stacking different upsell apps gets expensive and messy fast. What helped me was moving everything into one setup with AeroDrop and the AeroApps toolkit.

With AeroDrop, I can pull in products with one click, edit titles and descriptions right inside the app, and it auto handles fulfillment with real-time tracking. That alone cut out so much busywork.

Then AeroApps covers the upsell side with bundles, cart add-ons, BOGO and volume deals, even custom product options like swatches and text fields, without needing extra coding or extra apps.

Hi,

I recommend trying BOGOS, as it offers exactly what you’re looking for.

  • We support product/collection mapping when exporting offers from an old store to a new one, so you can handle product importing and order syncing in just a few steps.

  • As an all-in-one promotion app, BOGOS lets you run multiple types of campaigns in one place: BOGO, BXGY, free gifts, bundles, mix & match, volume discounts, “frequently bought together,” and checkout upsells.

Hi @Rafiqul77

If you’re still juggling multiple apps for upsells, bundles, and custom options, I’d recommend checking out Easify Product Options. It’s beginner-friendly and lets you add things like add-ons, and even custom fields (text boxes, uploads, swatches, etc.) without coding.

The nice part is you can keep your upsell strategy flexible while also giving customers a smoother shopping experience. It doesn’t replace product importing or syncing, but it can definitely cover the upsell + product customization side in one place, so you don’t need 2–3 extra apps for that. Here’s how it works:

  • This is a demo:

  • This is the app setting:

You can set different add-on prices for your option values, or connect your existing products to be used as add-on products:

I hope this answer helps solve the problem. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to Easify anytime!

Thank you, this seems great. i will try

For imports, start small. Upload 5 to 10 products first and use a fresh export from Shopify as your template so the column structure matches exactly. Most failures come from duplicate SKUs, mismatched handles, or minor formatting issues in Excel.

For upsells, keep it simple. Use consistent tags and automated collections, then plug those into your theme’s related products or Search & Discovery app block.

If you’re doing frequent bulk edits or working with metafields, a stronger import tool can make this much smoother. Something like Altera can help with clearer error visibility and safer bulk updates, especially for larger catalogs.
