Subdomains set up but where/how do I populate them?

Hello,

I have an existing Shopify store and am planning on separating the two arms of the business out into different subdomains.

I’ve linked up the subdomains to my account with eg shop1.mystore.com and shop2.mystore.com but am struggling with what to do next. How do I split my existing store between these two?

My ideal scenario is that I have a gateway/landing page on mystore.com with shoppers selecting shop1 or shop2 at this stage. The inventories for the two halves of the business are separate.

Where do I begin with this in the back end?

Hi. Do you have products for different locations or you want separate domains for different store languages? Or there is another case?
