Hi, we’re creating a dropshipping store using DSers for products with 100+ variants. I’m looking to add a Subscription App that allows customers to subscribe at different frequencies that allow them to manually select the variants. Because we offer 100+ style/design variants, the customer needs to be able to SELECT which variant they receive on their next order. Is there a service that does this?

I have a lot of experience with Recharge, and you cannot add different discount for different variants, same goes for frequency, so I wouldn’t recommended it.
I know that Skio offers all of that, and I think they would help you with integration and migration (if you need one).

I’m not sure SKIO will cut it. The customer will need to be able to choose what variant they want before each automatic order. Similar to HelloFresh, and other food subscriptions. Because the customer will want to try different variants, we do not want to lock them into a 1-variant subscription. Maybe SKIO can do this? I didn’t gather from their site that they could.
They offer an option for a customer to ‘swap’ a variant/product when subscribed, so they are not limited to stay subscribed on one option.
It’s best that you schedule a meeting with them, so they’ll explain everything. 
Oh excellent thanks. Do you know any other options that aren’t as expensive? Since we haven’t launched yet, $400/mo is quite a high stake.
Not really, the other option is Recharge, but that doesn’t cover your requests.

Hi, just wanted to chime in here. The Seal Subscriptions app has a customer portal page, where the customers can easily remove/add/edit products in their subscriptions. This allows your customers to change the variant they want simply by removing the current variant and adding the desired one to the subscription. At the next renewal, the variant that is in the subscription will be in the renewed order
You mentioned that Skio seems to be a bit too expensive for you, so Seal Subscriptions might be a better fit, as this functionality is also available on the free plan (https://apps.shopify.com/seal-subscriptions )
Can you please explain how to do this? I have seal but I’m not able to find this variant.
