I really hope I could get some help with my request because our team is already desperate.
We use Recharge for Subscriptions. Before the launch we have migrated a decent number of existing subscriptions from our previous system to Recharge. Those migrated subscriptions are linked to either Stripe or PayPal as payment gateways. Payment methods were migrated to Stripe from Adyen. With PayPal - we just connected our existing PayPal account to Shopify, no migration was done. What we see from the very beginning is that all the recurring orders for the migrated subscriptions are created without a billing address no matter whether the billing address is available in Stripe or PayPal.
The problem is that the billing address is required by our warehouses. When the billing address is missing, they reject the orders and we have to manually fix and upload the order which is very time consuming and not effective at all.
Ideally, we would expect that if the billing address is missing, then the fields are automatically completed with the same address as specified for the shipping. But it is not happening.
Do you know if there is a way for us to populate the billing address for a customer on our side so that this address is used when a subscription order is created?
I would really appreciate any help or any idea how it can be fixed or worked around?
