I made the massive mistake of switching from Paypal Express to Shopify Payment on my sub-box store. Now I can’t process payments for customers who purchased their subscription prior to the change of payment gateways.
There is no warning that the data will not transfer. Secondly when I asked for a manual transfer, Paypal was more than happy to help, Shopify refuses.
So I get to email my customers and ask them to repurchase their subscriptions. Let’s see how that goes?
Fortunately, I am a new store, but imagine if I had hundreds or thousands of subscribers…
