Each month on the 21st or 22nd our store experiences a large surge of direct traffic.
This traffic is only visible in our Shopify Analytics, not visible on other analyitical tools such as GSC or GA4.
Here is the breakdown of our analysis so far:
- The landing page type is product
- The referrer domain is “none”
- The referrer name is “none”
- The referrer path is “none”
- The referrer site is “none”
- The referrer source is Direct
- Each session is considered a bounce
In addition: The region associated to these spikes are from Hesse & Frankfurt, both in Germany. If anyone can shed some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
