Suddenly, variants cannot be selected in most browsers

July 27 (2023) the variant selector suddenly stopped working for almost all products, on most browsers. I made no recent changes to the webshop, and it worked until at least 1-2 days before. Shop www.tanthulda.se, theme Debut. No modifications to the theme were made in the last weeks before. The variant selector seems to work in Safari 16.3 on Mac OS 13.2, but not Firefox or Chrome on the same Mac, and not any browser on my iPhone iOS 16.6. I tried Duplicating a product including all variants, and then the variant selection worked a few minutes in some of the browsers. Try for example the product “Mota”, which has 26 variants (colors) plus one “… Välj här” (…Select here) option on top. The “…Select here” option was put there more than a year ago. Back then, I also designed some snippets of liquid code to make it impossible to add the “…Select here” option to the shopping cart. The code and option selection has worked flawlessly for all products in all browsers for over a year (no error reports from customers). However, yesterday I disabled the code snippet in order to exclude it from the debugging process. If you have any clues to what has happened I would appreciate it.
