I have been struggling to connect my Shopify store to my domain purchased from GoDaddy. Whenever I tried to connect to the domain under Shopify page, it shows that “This domain is already connected to another Shopify store.” I have no ways to find out which store the domain is connected to currently, any suggestions how to move forward?

This error message can happen if our system belives a domain is still connected to a store. In order for us to help further with this, please contact our support team through the Help Center here. We can’t see more details about this domain here over the Shopify Community, but if you speak with us through the page I shared we can see more information to help with this.

This is so frustrating. I contacted the support team five days ago, but I received 0 new information other than “the domain that you have purchased seems to be connected to another store”. I can’t believe that such a simple request can take so long. If it is NOT a simple issue, at least some details can be shared with me, but every time I contact the support, I was provided with superficial message “the internal team is working on this, and will send me an email”. It is just so frustrating.
