[Suggestion] Sent order email with shipping pic & tracking url when fulfill order

Upload shipping picture / video in order,
and email with order number & tracking number url to buyer.

Currently we are manually send packing picture and tracking number with URL by email to buyer for each order, to minimize any dispute by buyer , and easy to find support document.
When buyer raise dispute via paypal, we need to search buyer email in our mailbox to find shipping picture.
It is troublesome but necessary to improve buyer satisfaction, and I suggest to simplify this process.

I suggest Shopify:

  1. Upload picture / video / file under order, and support share function (email, whatsapp,share url etc)
  2. After picture uploaded, allow seller to send email with tracking url with order number. (currently shopify only show tracking number when we press copy, but we want tracking number as a clickable url, easy for buyer to check shipping status).
  3. Our ultimate target is set this as automate flow.
    When picture & shipping number uploaded to order, Flow app automatically send shipping email with packing number to buyer.

Some ideas:

  1. You could do this by having a custom app created for you. That custom app would store the tracking images on their server, then you could provide a link to that image in the order details page (order notes, for example). Then with it being in the order details, you could have that link included in an email to the customer if you wanted.

  2. You can already do this. When you update tracking information, Shopify generates a url, you can include that in the order email. You can use this variable:

fulfillment.tracking_urls

  1. This is automated with fulfillment notifications in Shopify already for #2. For #1 you would need to have a custom app, then it could automate that.

unfortunately dev a custom app is too techky for us,
would research for alternative solution (Probably Flow App ?)
