Supplier Stock API Integration with Shopify

Hi everyone,

I need some guidance (or possibly a developer recommendation) to integrate my supplier’s stock API with my Shopify store.

I understand this might require a custom integration using the Shopify Inventory API. I’m not a developer, so I’d appreciate advice on:

  1. Whether this can be set up with tools like Zapier, or if custom code is required.

  2. If custom code is needed, recommendations for developers or Shopify Partners who could handle this.

  3. Any rough cost estimates or best practices before I proceed.

I have 4 main suppliers, and I will need to set up an API connection with each one.

This sounds like it would need a custom script / app. You could check out something like gadget.dev, which is sort of like a low code tool for creating Shopify app. It’s a stretch, but you could also check out some of the apps that handle inventory feeds and if they’re basic enough they might work
