Suspension for false statements on Google Merchant

Hello, this is already the second account I’ve created here on Shopify in an attempt to get my site approved on Google Merchant, but without success. I made all the possible changes to the site but still can’t get it approved. I would like you to take a look at the site and see if you can find anything that’s incorrect for Google. Thank you in advance. Link to my site: mallishop.com.br

As you are drop shipping, the trust factors are automatically low.

Consider using your own images and content, so that you can increase the quality.

Consider a niche, avoid, selling random products. Focusing on a niche, also increases quality.

Make sure to only list products that are stocked, if you don’t know remove them.

Hi, @Mallishop !

Thanks for your post. @EmmanuelFlossie shared some great recommendations for you to keep in mind, and I also wanted to share this Google document about their misrepresentation policy, and how you can make your site more trustworthy. That page also has information on how to request a review of your store if you believe your store doesn’t violate their policy.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you very much for your response. Regarding focusing on a niche, I have been thinking about it and I will focus only on one, and perhaps in the future add others. Regarding drop shipping, actually I bought these products to resell, but I used the images from their Aliexpress ad. Is that why you thought it was a drop shipping site, or is there any information on the site that indicates it is a drop shipping site? Thank you in advance for your response.

That is correct, Aliexpress product images are used by many merchants, and this is one way Google can see what you are selling is sold by many others. So Google may not want another merchant selling the same exact product. To avoid this, having original content avoids this, and thus increases your quality.

Of course this may not be your only issue, but it is one of the main ones.

Please note that what I know, is far less than what Google knows, Google uses AI to determine if a merchant is acceptable or not.

I understand, I have already started making some changes to get approved on Google Merchant. After the changes, is it more worthwhile to create a new Google Merchant account or request a review of the suspended account? In your opinion, which is better?

Creating a new account is called circumventing policy violation and will most likely turn into a permanent ban. Always resolve the issue in your initial first account.

Still making some improvements on the website… I was checking the Page Indexing on Google Search Console and noticed that the site’s robots.txt file blocked Google’s bot from indexing some pages, including some Refund Policy pages and others. Do you think this may have caused the suspension of the Google Merchant account? Attached is a screenshot of the blocked pages.

If Google used a bot to crawl pages, then yes that will be an issue. Officially I have not received info from Google that this is ever the case, however since this year, I have been recommending merchants to update robots.txt to not block Google.
