Suspension for "Misrepresentation" – 2 months of struggling, need help reviewing my Shopify store

Hi everyone,

I am writing because my Shopify store has been suspended in Google Merchant Center for “Misrepresentation” for over two months. We have made several appeals, but each one is rejected with the same generic automated response.

My site: https://sklepdekoras.pl/

We have carefully reviewed Google’s Misrepresentation policy and, as far as we can tell, we have fulfilled all requirements. We are looking for a fresh pair of eyes to help us identify what might be triggering the system.

Here is what we have already optimized and verified:

  • Business Transparency: Our legal company name, physical address, and contact information are consistent across the Footer, Contact Page, and Merchant Center settings.

  • Legal Pages: We have unique, clear, and comprehensive pages for Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.

  • Trust Signals: We’ve added an “About Us” page detailing our brand story, a Q&A section, and even a trust banner to verify our business legitimacy.

  • Pricing & Checkout: All prices are transparent. There are no hidden fees or taxes added at the final stage of checkout. All payment methods and shipping icons are clearly displayed in the footer.

  • Technical Setup: The checkout process works flawlessly. We have verified our phone number and domain in GMC.

We are starting to wonder:

  1. Could there be any hidden Shopify scripts or “ghost” code from old apps that Google’s bots flag as suspicious?

  2. Is it possible that our “Misrepresentation” status is linked to our server location or domain history?

  3. Are there any specific “red flags” in Shopify’s default settings that often trigger this policy?

We are stuck in a loop and would appreciate any feedback or a quick audit of our site to see what we might be missing.

Thank you!

HI @dekoras

Since you have covered the basics, the issue is likely inconsistent data between your feed and your website.

First, check for an Inventory & Shipping mismatch. If your feed marks items as “in stock” but your shipping policy states delivery takes 7–14 days, Google flags this immediately. Ensure your Merchant Center shipping settings match your website’s reality exactly.

Also, beware of the “Fake Sale” trap: if almost all your products show a crossed-out “Compare At” price, Google views this as deceptive. Remove these discounts for at least 80% of your catalog so standard pricing is visible.

Hope this helps out a bit!

In the cart you are forcing users to accep tthe regulations and privacy policy, that is not allowed.
