Symmetry Theme Falsely Appears Up-to-date

I’m experiencing an issue with updating the Symmetry theme. The unpublished site is version 6.0.0, I would like to update it to 6.0.3. When I select the drop-down, it indicates:

I have been able to add 6.0.3 within the theme listing page but it appears as a new theme and has not affected the edited version indicating it is the latest, even though it isn’t. I haven’t made any coding changes.

Please help.

If by theme selection page you mean Symmetry’s listing page? then no.

As I mentioned in my post, I was able to download the latest version there, but this doesn’t help as it added 6.0.3 as a new theme, when I’ve spent a huge amount of hours customising the existing 6.0.0. I’ve reached out to the Symmetry developers and they believe it is a bug on Shopify’s system.

In that case, I would suggest messaging the Symmetry support theme for a more direct support, they would know how to handle this better. Cheers!

As I mentioned in my reply, I have reached out to them. They suggested I reach out to Shopify support as I said - they believe it’s a problem on Shopify’s side…
