Hi folks,
Disclaimer up front: I’m both a DTC Shopify founder and a Shopify partner (developer of Alfred Purchase Orders)
Who is this offer for: Any merchant who has yet to fully export/back up their Purchase Order and Supplier data from Stocky. To be clear, I’m not using this post as app marketing. I’d genuinely like to help any merchants who haven’t exported their data yet, do so efficiently.
Context: The Stocky sunset for the general population is 2 weeks out. A few weeks ago we added a Data Migration feature to our app that pulls straight from Stocky APIs and enables our users to migrate Supplier and Purchase Order data (as much as the Stocky API supports) into the app, with just a few clicks in our migration module. It will take you ~5 mins to install the app and migrate your data over.
Offer to Community: We’ve decided to make this feature (and all migrated data) available to any merchants who have the app installed, regardless of app subscription status. I.e. even after the 30 day trial and a subscription cancellation, users will retain access to the Data Migration module where they can download and/or fully delete their data from our databases.
In addition to this export, we’d recommend also exporting at minimum the Stocky SKU/Variant report to CSV, which can retain your supplier<>product relationships.
If you haven’t already exported your data, please do it now. With our app or via direct Stocky export. Don’t risk waiting any longer and missing the deadline.
Alfred Purchase Orders app: If you’d like to learn more about the Alfred POs app itself and understand who it may be a good fit for, see this post.
Hopefully this can be of help to some of you still figuring out your migration path!
