Tag filters not working to reduce results

Hello!

I have a bunch of trading card singles which I have tagged individually with colours and rarity, for example RED, BLUE,YELLOW and COMMON,UNCOMMON,RARE. I use for collection of singles page.

So if I select RED, it will show all cards tagged with RED, same with RARE tagged it will show all RARE cards and so on.

But if I select BLUE and COMMON for example, it will show all blue cards of all rarities, and all common cards of all colours.

I want it to show only cards that have the tags BLUE and COMMON, if it doesn’t have both tags then I don’t want it to show.

Reason is people are always looking for specific cards. Can this be done?

What you are trying is called narrow down filter. Please tell me if you have a solution with the Shopify filter. I am currently using https://apps.shopify.com/ultimate-search-and-filter-1 for this task but it is good if I could also find alternative ways.
