Taxes and Duties

Topic summary

A user is trying to configure their Shopify store to display tax-inclusive pricing at checkout. Despite activating “Include sales tax in product price” in settings, enabling “Charge tax on this variant” for all products, and configuring country-specific tax rules, the checkout page still shows taxes as an additional line item (e.g., ₹899 + taxes) rather than breaking down the inclusive price (e.g., ₹845 + ₹54 = ₹899).

Current situation:

  • Settings appear correctly configured based on screenshots
  • Taxes are calculating and displaying, but not as inclusive pricing
  • User wants the total price to remain the same, with tax shown as a component rather than an add-on

Hey @SceneWeeb ,

Welcome to Shopify community. I can see that it’s already show the taxes in the checkout. Would you like to write in explanation on what really feature you want.

Thanks

my product price should be inclusive of taxes . In above SS its 899+ taxes but i want my price to be inclisive of taxes at checkout page .eg if product price is 899 the at check out page it should be something like 845+44 = 899(inclusive of taxes)

This need to check in your store.

Would you mind to share the store url along with the collab code in the p/m so that I can take a look and provide you with the solution code.
