Test Mode banner still says ON after clicking OFF

I am trying to get my store up and running and test mode purchase went through fine but then i had a friend go in and try to purchase something but she said she couldn’t get to the cart.

There could be a couple of different issues at hand here, as the test mode for Shopify Payments or any other third-party gateways shouldn’t impact anyone’s ability to access the cart or checkout. Instead, if your friend isn’t able to get to the cart, then it’s possible that your store is still on trial or the storefront is password-protected. In order to remove the storefront password, your store would also need to be subscribed to a plan. Once your store is subscribed to a plan and the storefront password is disabled, then the checkout would be active and ready to process orders. Did you get a chance to review our monthly plans and find one suitable for your store moving forward?

I understand that you’ve also clicked on the banner to turn off test mode, which does sound like you’re using Shopify Payments. However, just to confirm, are you using Shopify Payments or a different third-party gateway at the moment?

If you’re using Shopify Payments, then it’s possible that you need to go one step further after clicking on the banner to turn off test mode or by further managing your Payment settings. From your Shopify admin, navigate to ‘Settings > Payments > Manage’ and locate the Test mode section - after that, simply disable the test mode and save the changes.

Hello and thank you. I am having issues with my account. People are unable
to make purchases and i’m not sure what i am doing wrong. when i click turn
tes off-it says that the banner is still on…tes mode is still on…i
can’t seem to figure out how to make my shop live with no glitches

please help!
