I’m trying to test our embedded app in a development store with the new admin.shopify.com domain. I’m unable to even open a store in the new domain. I’ve created new development stores but they all open in the myshopify.com domain. When I click “Test on development store”, I always get the myshopify.com url and cannot debug the admin.shopify.com. I can’t find any documentation on this. Anyone able to create and test development stores in the admin.shopify.com domain?
I also want to use my store like: admin.shopify.com/store/store-name/apps/app-name to test the app with this updated domain or url.

Unfortunately I was unable to do it. According to the partner support, you cannot test the admin.shopify.com domain with the development stores. I guess we’ll just have to wait for Shopify to fully implement the changes.
Also waiting on update on it. I had customer today with strange issue, and she was usingadmin.shopify.com domain. Couldn’t solve it for her, because there was no way to test it

A partner in the Shopify partners Slack community was able to test the new domain by contacting support and asking them to “convert” a test store domain to admin.shopify.com.
I haven’t done this though since I got my bug fixed without testing the new domain so I can’t confirm if it works.

Santpu, you are right. Problem solved through partner support.
I have contacted partner support and they have helped me add the ‘Beta flag’ to my development store, after which the store loaded the new domain (admin.shopify.com).
They handled everything from their backend, I just contacted them.
