Text and button won't show on mobile slideshow, but works perfect on desktop

The title and button for the slideshow won’t show on mobile device. I’ve tried many settings and watched a bunch of videos and nothing has been able to fix it. I don’t understand the problem cause I’ve made stores in the past and the text was shown on mobile. My theme is Boundless and my store link is https://hype-hotine.myshopify.com/

If anyone has a fix please lmk asap

Hello,

I have checked your store and the text & button on banner is hidden by default on small screens. To make them visible just add this code in assets → theme.scss file at end of the file.

.hero--adapt .hero__content-centered {
    display: table-cell !important;;
}

Thank you.

Thank you this was actually working for a couple of hours, but now it still won’t show the text and button. I don’t know what the problem is.

Hello,

I have checked this again but its working fine at my end. The text and button on banner are showing on all screen sizes. I am sharing a screenshot with you. Could you please check this after clearing browser cache or in another browser.

Thank you.

Yea it was showing like that for about an hour for me, but then it went back to how it was. I included the picture to show what I mean.

Hi Darealadambeats,

To gather a bit more context, did the storefront text and SHOP NOW button just recently disappear when viewing from mobile? Could you also share which type of mobile device and software version you’re using as well?

There may be a few reasons as to why the text and SHOP NOW button is not viewable from mobile. Were there any recent changes made to your theme.liquid that may be affecting your storefront?

I was able to replicate the error by launching your storefront on a mobile device. First, I’d like to make a suggestion of rolling back your theme code to an older version of your theme. This will help identify if the issue is occurring due to a code. You won’t lose any work that you’ve put in on your store as you can always roll back your theme to the current version.

Below I’ll share steps on how to roll back your theme code.

  • Navigate to your Shopify admin > Online Store > Themes.
  • Select Boundless theme, and then click Actions > Edit code.
  • Under the Templates header, click into the theme.liquid file.
  • Click Older versions next to the .liquid file name.
  • Select the drop-down menu to select an older version.

A second suggestion is previewing your store from mobile view in a fresh Shopify theme. You’re able to do this by navigating to your Shopify admin, Online Store > Themes section and scroll down to your Theme Library. You can install one of our free themes by selecting explore free themes to test this and ensure your storefront displays correctly.

Lastly, since you are using a Shopify powered theme and if you are on a supported plan you may be eligible for design time. Design time is used by the Shopify Themes team to implement theme customization requests on Shopify powered themes. I’d also like to share this helpful resource on customizing the Boundless theme that outlines how much design time will be used for the customization of moving the logo and navigation above the slideshow. You’re able to chat in with our Live Support Team to see if this customization is applicable.

I would also like to advise our Themes team may be able to take a closer look and determine if this is an issue related to the Boundless theme and no coding has been added or apps affecting this. This would not require any design time being used.

Thank you for trying but this still doesn’t fix the problem. I’ve been constantly trying to find a solution and nothing works. Seems to me that nothing is going to fix it.

Also I am using an iPhone 7, but I don’t think that is the problem because it was showing it fine after I imported the code. Then after that text and button disappeared again and will not show back up no matter what I try.

Hi @darealadambeats ,

Thank you for trying the above methods! Since the issue still persists on your Boundless theme I would like to recommend reaching out to our Live Support Team via phone, chat or email. Our Live Support team will be able to authenticate you and take a closer look within your theme settings to help identify where the error is populating from. The Themes team may be able to take a closer look and determine if this is an issue directly related to the Boundless theme and if no coding has been added or apps affecting this. Again, this would not require any design time being used.
