Hi can you help me. When I change the name of the Add to Cart button it changes until I resize the product and it goes back to default.
There was no such problem before, I don’t remember anymore, but I massively deleted all the products, imported a large number of new ones, and now I can’t change the text in the buttons, it’s as if it’s bugged. I’ve already tried to change the text through the theme code and translated it, it doesn’t help, who knows what to do?
Hi @antondavydenkow .,
his issue seems related to your theme or Shopify’s localization settings. Here’s how you can fix it:
-
Check Theme Code
- Go to Online Store > Themes > Edit Code.
- Look for the product-template.liquid or main-product.liquid file in the Sections folder.
- Find the “Add to Cart” text and edit it directly.
-
Translation Settings
- Go to Settings > Languages.
- Look for the “Add to Cart” text under Products and update it.
-
Mass Import Effects
- The product import may have reset your theme settings.
- Check your CSV file to ensure no settings or tags are overriding the button text.
-
Apps Conflict
- Disable any app that customizes buttons to check if it’s causing the issue.
-
Theme Reset
- Duplicate your theme, reset it, and see if the issue persists.
-
I don’t have add to cart in product-template.liquid or main-product.liquid
-
In Translate & Adapt I can change add to cart in the Default theme content section
-
I don’t know how to check the csv file
-
I have already deleted all apps and nothing changes, I don’t even know where to start, what is the problem.
-
Is it possible to return the theme and settings of the account to default and start all over again?
