Haven’t logged into the website since Christmas. Have been uploading new products and have just realised the add to cart button is not working. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey @JaneTSN ,
Welcome to the Shopify Community!
I’d love to understand a bit more about this in order to help you out. Any added context that you can provide will greatly help us pinpoint where the issue is stemming from and what steps we can take next:
-
Has the “Add to cart” button worked at all since December / had you been making any sales during this time?
-
Have you made any adjustments to your website? Such as edited your theme code or installed/uninstalled any apps recently?
-
Clear your cache and cookies - When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
Without being able to see your checkout, it’s difficult for me to establish exactly what is happening. Would you mind sharing your website URL with me so I can take a closer look?
Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi @JaneTSN
I’m Richard Nguyen - CRO Expert at PageFly- Free Landing Page Builder.
At the moment you don’t have to provide any specific information, I check it most accurately so I have some advice for you:
-
If you haven’t visited your site for a long time, maybe during that time your theme has been upgraded so you don’t know that information. So you can access your theme. you and view those notifications.
-
In case you do not understand the changes, you should contact the theme support directly to understand
-
I think the best way to solve the problem is that you can give your item information and access permission so that I can check it and give you the best solution.
If you find my comment useful, please let me know by giving it a Like. Thank you!
