The best AI app for photos and video for clothes

Hello! We sell motorcycle protective clothing and we are looking for an AI app that wse can use for generating creative model photos and videos. Any suggestions for apps that actually work?

Hi @DillyanaH :waving_hand: for images just use shopify-magic.
https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/shopify-admin/productivity-tools/shopify-magic/media-generation

Otherwise google such services and use them directly.
And show the work of what have you looked at and why aren’t they “best” or whatever that’s supposed to mean
“BEST” is subjective and deeply flawed by being incredibly vague on what “best” even means to you or anyone.

Either way top of the line video generation services will cost a TON of money to not just add slop to your business.
And that’s before you pay the additional margin to a middleman app that will tell you they are “best” just to get a sale.

For clothing brands, the hardest part is getting AI visuals to look real, and that accurately fits, fabric texture, and natural poses matter more than flashy effects. The right tools should balance realism, speed, and e-commerce readiness. A good example is Pikes AI for brands; it refines product visuals by fixing lighting, shadows, and backgrounds, keeps fabrics realistic, and lets you bulk-update on-brand images for Shopify without reshoots.

Just upload the packshot into the product and use Shopify Generative AI to create a model pic. The AI prompt is important but we have had some great results from this for fashion model shots. Example below….

I understand you need apparel clothing, There are lot of asian company provide photo editing service and AI posed Model service.

I use sceneo.io and I’m very happy with the results. It doesnt feel like AI

These tools all use ChatGPT and Gemini models actually. You can even directly use them to generate images or videos, but the key is to write good prompts. Many people think that AI-generated content is too fake and unrealistic because their prompts are not detailed enough. You can compare several apps, refer to their case examples, and integrate them to form a set of prompts that are exclusive to your brand’s characteristics. For example, specific prompts such as design styles and image elements. “Design visual assets for a running shoe product page, including a hero image, product close-ups, and athlete-on-foot shots that highlight performance and materials.” If it’s really not working, you can use 4Seller’s AI function to generate product detail pages.

Feed the prompts generated by AI back to AI to let it help you generate images and videos. I think using AI to train AI is a good idea, because I feel that when everyone uses such apps, the image materials generated will become similar. The core still lies in having a set of unique brand prompts.

Agreed with @KimSeoHo the point of view. @DillyanaH You can try ChatGPT, Copilot, and Google Gemini, like free software.

Hello @DillyanaH I’d suggest trying Cheeppy. It’s one of the more practical tools I’ve seen for creating product photos without doing a full shoot. A lot of AI apps sound great but don’t really deliver, so it may be worth testing this one for your use case.

AI is getting scary good for this stuff. I’ve seen some shops use it for on-model shots and it saves so much time compared to a full photo shoot, especially for niche gear like motorcycle clothing.

motorcycle gear is one of the harder categories for AI tbh. the fit and technical details (armor panels, zippers, seams) are the kind of thing most AI tools still struggle with because they just hallucinate the details instead of keeping them accurate.

for photos, I’d try a few of the free tiers and compare side by side with your actual products before committing to anything. we’ve been building one called Prodofoto that does on-model shots if you want to check it out. for video, the AI space is still pretty early for apparel specifically so I’d keep expectations in check there.

Hello DillyanaH and all on this thread! I am the PMM lead for Tinker - a Shopify app we launched 2 weeks ago built exactly for this.

Tinker is a free mobile app with 100+ AI tools to help anyone explore their ideas (truly, any idea) and can create things like product photography, editorial lifestyle shots, and videos.

You don’t need any design or AI prompting experience. Everything is organized by what you want to create and there’s a ton of examples so you know what each app does.

If you already have a product, I recommend starting with the “Product Studio Shot” app. And if you need a model, you can use the “Character Generator” to create one then use the “Virtual Try-on” to put your product on the model.

Would love to know how this works out for you!

Tinker looks interesting for general creative exploration. for dedicated product photography though, we found that a purpose-built tool works better than a broad creative suite. that’s why we made Prodofoto, it’s focused entirely on ecommerce product shots with 5 specific modes (studio, lifestyle, on-model, infographic, copycat) and spits out up to 9 unique images per generation. different tools for different jobs honestly, but for merchants who specifically need product photos fast, having something optimized for that workflow saves a lot of back and forth with general AI tools.

That sounds like a solid resource for small business owners who don’t have a background in design. Being able to generate lifestyle shots without a full studio setup is a massive time-saver for anyone just starting out on Shopify.

Yes @claire838! There’s even a specific app in Tinker for lifestyle shots. Give it a whirl
