The Product-Template-Custom.liquid is not passing the variables to Check out

Hello

over a year ago, I have created a new custom Product Template that allows the customer to pass an extra variable variant (Dress length, name…etc) while they add the product to the cart.

I am using Brooklyn Theme.

It has been working perfectly for over a year, until about a week ago where this variant variable is not anymore being passed to the check out. So it is now causing me trouble with the customers.

I have two different Websites on Shopify, both are running on the same Theme (Brooklyn) and in both I have added this Custom Product Template. And they both suddenly stopped passing the extra variable variant to the check out.

All other standard variants are being passed normally to the check out page.

What could be the problem ? and How can I fix it please?

Is your code using line properties? I have a customer with the same problem. This started a few days ago, no code changes, everything works fine before. Please contact Shopify support about this. I haven’t found a solution to this yet, since it seems it is at the backend part of Shopify. The more people experiencing this and report it to Shopify, the bigger chance for Shopify to provide a solution to this.
