If I had to choose just one, SEO Booster is often considered one of the most complete SEO apps for Shopify. It covers a broad range of features, including automatic image optimization, meta tag management, sitemaps, and on-page SEO analysis. Additionally, it provides recommendations and tools to help improve your website’s visibility in search engines.
Of course, there are other excellent options too, like Plug in SEO and SEO Manager, but SEO Booster tends to offer the most comprehensive set of features in one app.

Working on inbuilt seo is what i will recommend you to do and to get that done you can make use of premium yoast

I would say TinyIMG is the best app for Shopify. It not only optimizes your site speed, SEO, but new features help you rank on AI search too.
They have a new feature called “Improve Product SEO” which gives you a detailed list on what to fix exactly so you would not need to guess.
Besides that - It’s super affordable and has great customer support!
Has anyone here paired a more technical SEO app for things like schema and redirects with something like Naper AI just for product copy and image alt text?
A bit late, but I wanted to add one more option. We run a Shopify agency and have tested most of the major SEO apps across client stores, and the one we keep coming back to is SEO Lab. It covers the full range in one place, including meta tags, schema, image alt text, redirects, and on page analysis that points you to specific fixes rather than a vague score. The interface is easy to use and has great customer support!
One honest note though. No SEO app alone will get you to the top of Google. Keyword research, content, and backlinks still do the heavy lifting, but the right app gives you a solid technical foundation to build on.
