A couple months ago, you suddenly started forcing us to enter in a Google-friendly Product Type while adding a new product. This was very inconvenient, but then you tweaked it a little so that I could go back to using my custom types, since I’ve based your entire site layout and 6000+ title catalog around the actually useful types that I created, and besides - I don’t even USE Google! And I’m a bit old-school, and try to use my mouse as little as possible, instead using the tab button to get around. That’s literally impossible now…
Well, to twist that screw on us a little tighter, now, the you can’t even start typing to find the useless default product type you want in order to get to the custom one you need. Now you have to manually use your mouse to select one from the dropdown list (whereas I was able to just quickly tab through all the fields before). Oh, and finding the custom type has become difficult again.
Can someone please make it so that it is possible to either tab through the page to enter what you need or at least, failing that, unhide the custom product type so that I can skip the absolutely useless Google-friendly tag? I’m happy to help with that coding, if you need it; it wouldn’t take me too long…
By the way, my offer to become a QA tester for Shopify still stands. I mean, I’m sure the number of angry topics in the forums would decrease since I could let you know when another proposed bad idea change doesn’t work the way you hoped it would…
