Hi!
I´d like to add an affiliate tracking link that begins with a “?” to a collections URL handle. But each time I´m doing so, the “?” is being exchanged with a “-”, leading to the tracking link not working. Shopify support told me to “modify the Theme navigation link”. I´m pretty much not familiar with working in the theme code. Could someone let me know step by step, what I need to do?

Seems like you are tried to add link params to URL on the edit collection page (shopify admin panel).
If it is true, you might keep the URL for collection without ‘?’ and add such parameters only for the navigation link (use the link with a parameter instead default collection link).
Shopify has a pretty strict requirements for page URLs and we can’t modify it on the settings page.
But we still have options in the menu and redirection links.
If I’m wrong, please provide more details about your problem.
