I had someone make suggestions to my site which could help with conversions and before I do anything to possibly mess it up, I would like to know how to do some adjustments to the layout like readjusting the orders of my side tab to where it more functional and the product page to have my clothing and not everything on my site randomly. I would like some feedback as to what I could improve on it from an expertise perspective. I lastly would also like to delay the mailchimp email pop by maybe 30 secs or maybe an excite popup as I was told that it was maybe not a good idea to have it jump out when entering the site and all this could be done in the theme page which I have no clue what Im looking at . I’m glad to assist with your questions. Let’s address each of them one by one:
1) Adjusting the orders of side tab
After having a look at your website, I can see that there’s a side tab in your collections pages and most likely that side tab is picked up from the “Shop” menu you have created so to adjust the order of it just simply follow these steps:
- Create a new separate Menu ( Content > Menus )
- Adjust the menu in a order which you require
- From your theme customization, assign that menu to your side tab
2) Delaying the mailchimp email popup:
As far as I know that there’s an option of Time Delay in mailchimp which you can include to add a 30s delay in your mailchimp popup but just incase if you’re unable to then you can also delay it by using some custom code within your theme files. Although if you’re not familiar with coding then hiring a Shopify developer would be the best option who can help you out with that.
3) Website Feedback:
After having a detailed look on your website I can say that there’s some room for improvement so I would recommend you to consider having a detailed look over these points below as they can help you pretty much improve your website and make it user-friendly.
- Overall the font size is too big
- The header design can be improved
- The product pictures are not same sizes and are misaligned
- Homepage design can be improved
- Product page is too basic which doesn’t defines the product properly
